big top marquee

The circus tent, or Big Top, was first used about 1825 on the itinerating show of the American J. Purdy Brown.  His circus incorporated minstrel numbers going on to include animal manageries in 1832.

Nowadays we tend to use them as a marquee cover for festivals, bars, parties and theatre ‘in the round’ at schools.

Our Big Top, in green and blue, was made in the UK to order, and is becoming more popular as an alternative, ‘fun’, marquee when looking for something just that little bit different!
