In 2002, Ed Jenke having worked for an events company in the Kent area during University summer holidays, quickly realised there was a unique opportunity to provide marquee & event equipment closer to home and thus DP Marquees was formed to cover the South West. Starting with the modern Capri marquees in the early days the company grew to include ‘Chinese Hat’ aluminium framed structures. In 2006 the first Traditional Marquee was available to hire and in 2017 we introduced the beautiful canvas Petal Marquee to the portfolio.
In 2010, having reached capacity, Olly Burry, Ed’s life-long prep school buddy, joined the firm to continue its growth and share the ever increasing workload. With a wealth of contacts between them, they have formulated distinctive relationships with local venues and clients in making their vision a reality without costing the earth.
We can highly recommend many venues to suit your requirements and locations and certainly advise on key points in your planning process. Therefore, whatever stage you are at, we are more than happy to do free site visits to advise on the best structures or decor of barns, out-buildings, village halls etc.
